Picture Frames

To save our customers money and headache, we do not include frames in the purchase. Instead, we highly recommend purchasing a frame locally. This approach saves you A LOT on shipping! Because of the awkward dimensions, shipping costs force suppliers to sell picture frames with poor quality and steep prices. Norm Service uses frames in our photos to show you just how smashing our prints can look with a half decent frame.

Depending where your from, we recommend a brick and mortar stores like Wal-Mart, Winners, or Micheals. We've found Wal-Mart to have frames priced lower than you could ever find online, with much higher quality. IMPORTANT -> make sure you match your frame size to your poster print!

In North America, most frames are sold with dimensions provided in inches. The inches must match the poster you are purchasing. Improper sizing will require you to trim the paper, which results in a lower quality look. IMPORTANT--> if your frame is matted, you need a smaller print to ensure the graphics aren't covered!

In the picture framing industry, a mat is a thin, flat piece of paper-based material included within a picture frame, which serves as additional decoration and to perform several other, more practical functions, such as separating the art from the glass. IMPORTANT --> If you purchase a frame with a mat, you must consider the size when choose a poster print. For example, a 18inch x 20inch frame with a 2 inch mat.. will overlap your 18 x 20 inch poster. Most prints will have about a half inch of white space to work with BUT in this case you would likely want a 16x 18 poster. If there is gaps behind the print, you can put a larger white paper behind your print.
